The Guineas-based travel agency was crowned the town’s Best Lifestyle Business for Multiples in 2018 by Love Newmarket BID in its inaugural awards ceremony held at Heath Court Hotel.
As a finalist in the category, Premier Travel was visited by a mystery shopper who scored the branch on its appearance, the level of service provided, and staff enthusiasm and knowledge. Following this, the store was questioned on travel-related scenarios over the phone. The travel firm went up against four other local businesses to win the award.
Elaine Carr, manager of Premier Travel in Newmarket, said: “The win was completely unexpected but we were thrilled to receive the award, which is now on display inside the branch. Customer service is of the utmost importance in everything we do, so it’s really encouraging to be recognised.”
